A red room made up of individual components of handmade paper, each about two feet long by six to eight inches wide. 900 pieces are pinned onto the wall with 1000 pins. Materials used include kozo, flax, hemp, native iris, encaustic and red dye. Each fiber dyes differently, therefore the colors are varied.
