This is the beginning of a piece I anticipate growing. I envision perhaps a hundred or so individual components and would like to see them hanging from the ceiling as they are here, scattered on the floor or hung on a wall. They are made from handmade kozo paper, kozo strips, reed, wax, linen and hemp cord, and kakishibu a wonderful dye, strengthener, and water proofer made from the fermented juice of persimmons.
The beginnings of this old idea are hanging from the ceiling and are 4′ deep and 8′ wide
